Said Karimou

Originally from Niger, Said is a results-oriented development professional with over 15 years of experience leading large-scale projects in social and economic development as well as political reform. He has successfully implemented inclusive development projects that improved the livelihoods of more than 20,000 beneficiaries, notably under the Compact Program in Niger. 

PMP® and PRINCE2® certified, Said spent ten years at the Millennium Challenge Account Niger as a Project Manager, where he oversaw end-to-end project management from design through implementation of complex, multicultural, and multisectoral projects. His efforts directly contributed to increasing rural incomes and strengthening economic resilience, with particular attention to women, youth, and vulnerable groups. 

A strategic leader with a collaborative approach, Said has deep expertise in human-centered and community-driven development. He has worked closely with local communities, government institutions, municipalities, and private-sector partners to ensure project sustainability and the long-term viability of investments. 

Currently serving as Lead Development Manager at the Housing Hub New Brunswick, Said continues to promote effective decision-making, innovative project implementation, and sustainable value creation, contributing to the success of housing and development initiatives.
